Software licence agreement
The terms on which GlobalInvoice is licensed. The same agreement is shown, and accepted, when you install the app.

Please read this agreement before installing or using GlobalInvoice. By installing or using the software you agree to it. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software.
Who we are and what this covers
"We" or "the Licensor" means GlobalInvoice (contact: sales@globalinvoice247.com, website https://globalinvoice247.com). "You" means the business or person to whom a licence key is issued. "The Software" means the GlobalInvoice application, its updates and its documentation.
Your licence
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Software for the internal business purposes of the business named in your licence key, on the number of computers, for the period and with the modules stated in that licence key. The Software is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights not expressly granted to you.
What you may not do
You may not: (a) copy the Software except for normal backups; (b) sell, rent, lend, share or sub-license the Software or your licence key; (c) reverse engineer, decompile or modify the Software, except to the extent the law allows despite this restriction; (d) remove, disable or work around the licence checks or copy-protection; (e) use the Software for anyone else's business without a licence for that business.
Licence checks
The Software checks your licence with our licence server (licence.globalinvoice247.com). It sends only the licence number, a device code, the app version and technical signs that the licence files were changed. It never sends your invoices, customers or other business data. If the Software cannot check in for 30 days, or when a licence ends, is revoked for non-payment or for breach of this agreement, the Software becomes read-only: you can still open, print and export your data, but not create new documents.
Your data and your tax obligations
Your company files stay on your computer and remain yours. You are responsible for keeping backups (the Software makes daily backups on your computer; keep copies elsewhere too), for the accuracy of what you enter, and for checking invoices, returns and reports before you use or file them. The Software helps you prepare tax documents and return figures; it does not file returns for you and is not tax, legal or accounting advice. Tax rules change; check with your tax adviser when in doubt.
Fees, renewal and refunds
Fees, the licence period and any refund terms are as stated in your quotation or order. A licence ends at the end of its period unless renewed.
Updates and support
During your licence period you receive the updates and support included in your licence. Support is by email to sales@globalinvoice247.com on business days (India Standard Time). We may change, add or remove features in updates, but will not remove a module you have paid for during the period you have paid for.
Warranty
For 30 days from the date your licence key is issued, the Software will work substantially as described on our website and in its documentation. If it does not, we will fix the problem or, if we cannot, refund the fee you paid for the licence. Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, the Software is provided "as is", without other warranties of any kind.
Liability
To the extent the law allows: (a) we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business or data, or for interest, penalties or fees charged by tax authorities arising from information you entered or returns you filed; (b) our total liability under this agreement is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in this agreement limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Third-party software
The Software includes open-source components, used under their own licences. These are listed in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES (installed with the Software) and in Settings > Subscription.
Ending the agreement
This agreement ends when your licence ends, or if you seriously breach it and do not put the breach right within 15 days of our written notice. After it ends you must stop using the Software except to open, print and export your own data.
General
This agreement is governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. If any part of it cannot be enforced, the rest remains in force. We may update this agreement for new versions of the Software; the version shown when you install a version applies to it. Questions: sales@globalinvoice247.com.
